SOJA at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre

The St. Augustine Amphitheatre presents SOJA on Friday, August 9, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

The rock and reggae ensemble SOJA showcases tunes from their albums like "Creeping In" and beyond. Fronted by Jacob Hemphill, with Bobby Jefferson and Trever Young on vocals and guitar, Ryan Berty on drums, Rafael Rodriguez on trumpet, Hellman Escorcia on saxophone, Ken Brownell and Patrick O'Shea on percussion, this Grammy-nominated group earned nods for 2021 Album of the Year from Surf Roots and Radio.

Starting their musical odyssey in 2007, they've collaborated with Rebelution, Stick Figure, UB40, and Dirty Heads, touring extensively across the United States and Europe.

Their discography includes Creeping In, Peace In A Time of War, Dub In A Time of War, Get Wiser, Born In Babylon, Strength To Survive, Amid The Noise and Haste, Poetry in Motion, and their most recent album, Beauty In The Silence.

Special guests Algorhythm and Sensamotion will also make guest appearances at the event.

Admission: Ticket prices range from $45.00 to $50.00. Tickets can be purchased online or at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre Box Office, open on Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The box office accepts debit and credit cards only.

Parking Information: The St. Augustine Amphitheatre is located on Anastasia Island next to Anastasia State Park. Limited paid parking is available in the St. Augustine Amphitheatre Main Lot, but only with advance purchase of a Premium Parking ticket. Free satellite parking areas are located within one mile of the Amphitheatre, at R.B. Hunt Elementary, and at Anastasia State Park (see map below).

Shuttle Information: The St. Augustine Amphitheatre shuttle system begins its run 60 minutes before show time. The shuttle will pick up event patrons at four designated shuttle stops: the R.B. Hunt Elementary School Soccer Field, the west entrance of the Anastasia State Park Main Parking Lot, the Loop at the Anastasia State Park, and the entrance of The Amp. Shuttles will run continuously until approximately 60 minutes after the scheduled start time of a concert. For anyone wanting to leave before the end of a show, shuttles will begin taking people back to the satellite parking areas one hour before the event is over. The driver will not depart from The Amp until the shuttle is more than 50% full.
