HORNIT
HORNIT is a local rock band that's taken life by the horns and played on stages 'round the world.
The Rock band HORNIT has crafted their music and stage performance into an attitude and lifestyle known as "Life by the Horns". These "self proclaimed Light Heavyweight Champions of Rock n Roll," are forged from the working man's daily grind, and have molded themselves from such influences as Son House, Robert Johnson, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Elvis Presley, Led Zeppelin, Queen, ACDC, KISS, Guns n Roses, Motley Crue, and many others.
HORNIT was formed by lead vocalist Todd Horn, former front man for Spider Monkey, and the band has recorded and shared the stage with the best in Rock n Roll. In addition to Todd, front man and vocalist, the band is comprised of Billy Annin, drums; Chris McDowell, bass; and GT Lemeer, guitar. The band has local roots in north Florida, and the members have intermingled alliances with other bands and musicians in the region, including Papercutt, Down Low, Sizemore, and Mike Johnson and the Little Big Band.
As HORNIT, they have worked with Grammy nominated and Platinum producers across the industry, spanning a variety of music genres, and have crafted their music and stage performance into an attitude and lifestyle known as:"Life by the Horns." Still, for most, the St. Augustine area is home and the city plays a big role in their music video for one of their original songs, "No Place Like Home."
