Paige King Johnson
This young singer/songwriter is building a career in country music.
Paige King Johnson grew up in farming country—Angier, North Carolina—where she showed horses, sang, and played guitar.
As a young girl, she would perform in fairs, at festivals, and on other country and small-town stages, later opening for impressive acts while she was still in high school, including Kane Brown, Gabby Barrett, and Oliver Anthony.
Paige moved to Nashville in 2015 and attended Belmont University for music business, where she worked to develop her writing skills, learning, “… that my personal feelings and experiences were worth talking about, singing about, and putting on paper.”
She has won several Carolina Country Music Awards and in 2022 was named North Carolina’s first “Music Ambassador.” While promoting North Carolina, she wrote a song dedicated to her roots, “Homes in the Hometowns.” The music video was filmed in her hometown.
Paige has been mentored by singer/songwriter and record producer, Pam Tillis, who worked with her on several music videos. Paige released her debut album, Honkey Tonk Heart in 2022.
