Rambler Kane staring pausing between songs

Rambler Kane

Influenced by legendary artists across several genres.

Rambler Kane, a singer/songwriter from Jacksonville, prefers not to describe his music by a particular genre. His parents loved soul music, so his early influences were musicians like Ottis Redding and Marvin Gaye. Later on, he began listening to Bob Dylan, and then in his 20's he discovered John Prine and Townes Van Zant, and others like them. For him, it's about the songs and the audience's feelings when they listen. It's no accident that his original songs contain hints of soul, folk, and the blues, with well-written stories.

This almost-lawyer has been writing songs seriously for a few years, growing more committed to being a full-time professional musician and songwriter. Rambler frequently plays in Northeast Florida, most often as a solo act. While he is thankful for large and enthusiastic crowds, he particularly enjoys playing in smaller venues where he can interact with the audience. In May 2024, Rambler released his first full-length album, Live at the Blue Jay Listening Room.
