The Deep Creek Conservation Area — North Tract stretches across thousands of acres of flatlands and the St. Johns River. It is one of two, the other being the Yarborough Tract, and is the largest plot of conservation land.
Be on the lookout for exotic birds such as herons and blackbirds, or come across deer, wildcats, and other animals in their natural habitat when stopping for a visit.
