Hosted by Sertoma of St. Augustine, many local businesses and community volunteers, the "Compassion 5K" works to raise awareness and money for families that are currently living with a major health crisis, many of which are life threatening.

The Course: The run is an "out-and-back" style course with changes in topography that will both begin and end on Shore Blvd and Santa Maria Blvd in the St. Augustine Shores neighborhood. The entire course is run on a hard-surface, asphalt road. The course has hills and curves, making this 5k challenging and exhilarating. There will be a water station mid-way through the run, as well as water, drinks, and snacks at the finish.

Registration: Mail-in registrations can be mailed to: Compassion 5K 116 Barbarosa Street St. Augustine, FL 32086 Pre Registration Pick Up - November 8th 5PM - 7PM a Flagler Imaging Center located at 101 Healthpark Blvd St. Augustine, FL 32086.

T-shirts are guaranteed to all runners who pre-registered before October 30th. Same day registrations are not guaranteed a shirt and their fees will be higher.

Awards: There are over 35 different award categories! Top male and female finishers will receive cash prizes. There will also be great post race prizes donated by local businesses will be randomly drawn and awarded to registered participants of the race.

The award categories include: 1rst, 2nd & 3rd Place Male Finisher and 1rst, 2nd & 3rd Place Female Finisher. Male and Female Division Awards: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and over.
