The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall presents award-winning guitarist and composer Al Di Meola in concert on Saturday, February 21, 2015.

Di Meola began his career in 1974 when he joined the band Return to Forever. He became a solo artist in 1976, and has since produced six albums with Columbia Records. Recognized as a true guitar hero, Di Meola is also a prolific composer and has produced over 20 albums as a leader over his long career.

His musical partnerships include the Tour de Force group with Jan Hammer, Anthony Jackson, Steve Gadd and Mingo Lewis; Trio with fellow guitar virtuosos John McLaughlin and Paco de Lucia; the Rite of Strings trio with Stanley Clarke and Jean-Luc Ponty; and the '70s fusion group Return to Forever with Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke and Lenny White.

Al Di Meola has earned three gold albums and more than six million dollars in record sales worldwide. He has a new album due to be released in 2015.
