The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall welcomes Amy Ray, renowned for being one half of the award-winning folk duo Indigo Girls, in a live concert with her country band on Thursday, November 8, 2018.
For over 30 years, Amy Ray has been known as one half of the Grammy-award-winning folk duo Indigo Girls. She has also been performing and recording as a solo artist with her indie label, Daemon Records, since 1989.
In her solo projects, Amy has favored a more electric sound with a punk rock feeling to it, releasing five solo rock albums: Prom, Didn't It Feel Kinder, Live from Knoxville, Lung of Love, and MVP Live.
She has recently moved into the country music arena, releasing a traditional country/Americana album, Goodnight Tender, in 2014, as well as a live recording, The Tender Hour, in 2015.
Amy Ray's new solo country album, Holler, will be released in September 2018, featuring Alison Brown on banjo, Kofi Burbridge on keys, Derek Trucks, Vince Gill, Brandi Carlile, The Wood Brothers, Justin Vernon, Lucy Wainwright Roche, and Phil Cook on harmonies.
