The ALS Association hosts the Ancient City Walk to Defeat ALS on Saturday, October 26, 2024. This 1.5-mile walk kicks off at 8:00 a.m., in front of the Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum. While there is no fee to participate in the walk, fundraising efforts are encouraged and appreciated.

By hosting this event, The ALS Association aims to raise awareness, fund education, increase community support, improve access to care, and encourage advocacy for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Aiming to provide hope to people living with ALS and their families, the ALS Association remains dedicated to its mission of improving treatments and discovering a cure for ALS, while also empowering those living with ALS. 

Admission: Participants can register and donate by visiting here.

When: Saturday, October 26, 2024. Check-in is at 8:00 a.m. and the walk begins at 9:00 a.m.

Where: The Ripley's Believe It or Not! museum is at 19 San Marco Ave. in downtown St. Augustine, Florida 32084.
