Apex Theatre Studio presents Ride the Cyclone, an off-Broadway musical about six teens from a Canadian choir, on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, August 10 - 12, 2023.

While riding the cyclone, a freak accident places six teens in "limbo," where they meet a mechanical fortune teller who offers each of them the opportunity to tell a story to win back their life. The Vulture theater review described this musical as "eerie and funny, as well as subversive, serious, touching, and great."  Please note: this production is PG-13.

Written by Jacob Richmond and Brooke Maxwell, this production is directed by Nick Case. The play features local theater students from Duval and St. Johns Counties, including Haiden Matthews, Olivia DeMaio, DJ DeJesus, Miles Melanson, Owen Betancourt, Ruby Simmons, Emily Gonzalez, and George Eastman.
