First Coast Cultural Center (FCCC) hosts an Art History Presentation: Greetings from Florida! Art Histories of the Sunshine State on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. University of North Florida professor, Dr. P. Scott Brown, leads a discussion of Florida's art history/architecture by using certain structures for examination.

Listeners will get an in-depth presentation on how everyone's favorite tourist destination has evolved, specifically through architecture. From Fort Caroline and Henry Flagler's Alcazar Hotel to Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom, the style and design from the 16th century to the present day have been worthy of study. Visitors are transported to places such as France, Spain, the past, and the future—making it a reason so many return to this unique state.

Admission: $10.00 for members and $15.00 for future members. Check the website to buy tickets.

When: Friday, March 14, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Where: First Coast Cultural Center is at 6000B Sawgrass Village Circle, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida 32082.
