Beres Hammond

Beres Hammond will perform at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall on August 29, 2014. Hammond is a reggae singer from Jamaica with an intriguing, soulful voice.

In 1976 Hammond released his first solo album, Soul Reggae. After recording two more albums, the singer formed his own record label entitled Harmony Records. Hammond moved to New York in 1987 and recorded the Have a Nice Weekend album. In 1990 he signed with Penthouse Records and returned to Jamaica permanently. Hammond performed for the opening ceremonies of the Cricket World Cup, and released three more albums since 2008.

When?  August 29, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. Gates open at 7:00 p.m.

Parking Information: Parking will be available onsite. There will be a $5 parking fee for ticketed events and for free events parking will also be free. For events not produced by the St. Johns County Cultural Events Division, parking fees will be at the discretion of the event producer.
