Big Bad Art Party & Kairos Creature Club at Flagler College
On December 2, 2022 at Flagler College, a student-led, dual artistic event called the Big Bad Art Party & Kairos Creative Club with special guest K.Utie, will be held across the entire campus.
What and where is the Big Bad Art Party?
Crisp-Ellert Art Museum
Located at 48 Sevilla Street, and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., CEAM and the Department of Visual Art are hosting the Zine + Print Fest, which entails self-published short publications that encapsulate a story through images or text.
Down the Rabbit Hole, a special exhibition of work created by students in Type Studio — text based video editor — will also be on display.
Jay's Place in the Ringhaver Student Center
Located on 50 Sevilla Street, the Sheltering Project — in collaboration with the Homeless Coalition of St. Johns County — is another exhibition between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. that entails sky paintings and other artistic works on display in support of raising awareness and lending a hand to families seeking to build a better future for themselves.
Ceramics Studio - Studio 8
Finally, there is Mon Jovi & The Biscuits — located at 6 Valencia Street — an annual open studio and ceramics sale between 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. that includes fun-filled karaoke.
What and where is the Kairos Creature Club with special guest K.Utie?
Crisp-Ellert Art Museum
Located at 48 Sevilla Street from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and in collaboration with CEAM, Underwire Collective, an organization created on behalf of unique musical expressions by BIPOC, transgender, and non-binary artists, will host a performance by Jacksonville musician K.Utie and headliner Kairos Creature Club.
Admission: Free and open to the public.
When: December 2, 2022 with the Big Bad Art Party between 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and the Kairos Creature Club with special guest K.Utie between 7:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
