Casino Night: Shake, Rattle & Roll

Casino Night: Shake, Rattle, and Roll will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020, as a benefit for Ayla's Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue. The fundraiser and gala will be held at St. Augustine's River House and will include an abundance of activities, including gambling, music, and drinks. Television celebrity Loretta Swit from the hit TV show M*A*S*H will host the event.

The gala features casino games like blackjack, roulette, craps, poker, slot machines, and celebrity bingo. The $95 admission ticket includes $100 in funny money for the gambling tables, one drink ticket (beer and wine), one raffle ticket, and hors d'oeuvres, along with other dessert items. There will be dancing and live music by singer/actor Little Jake and Soul Searchers. Formal attire to this event is optional.

Ayla's Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue provides shelter and a sense of security for homeless and neglected animals in the Northeast Florida area. The organization currently offers the Ayla's Acres Sanctuary, a 45-acre refuge in Greenville, FL, where "un-adoptable" domestic and farm animals are housed and cared for 24 hours a day.

Ayla's Acres is currently building Peter's Friends, a new 17-acre facility that will serve Northeast Florida by providing rescue, shelter, adoption, and low- or no-cost spay, neuter, and vaccinations. The company's thrift store helps provide an additional monetary bonus since Ayla's Acres receives no government funding. Events like Casino Night also help offset some of the expenses of the company, saving more and more animals with every donation received.
