The Cherry Poppin' Daddies will perform their "Salute to the Music of the Rat Pack" on Friday, February 13, 2015, while the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall also celebrates four years of presenting live entertainment and community events in Ponte Vedra Beach. The anniversary party will add a festive flair (not to mentionin free celebratory cupcakes and Ponte Vedra Concert Hall stickers) to the party atmosphere that the Cherry Poppin' Daddies always bring to their concerts.

The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall will unveil recent upgrades to the faciltiies at this anniversary bash -- a brand new Kimball baby grand piano in the newly renovated piano loung, along with over $4,000 worth of new furniture and furnishings for artist dressing rooms, all donated by The Friends of the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall.

The Cherry Poppin' Daddies have re-invented themselves several times in the course of their career, with musical styles ranging from social commentary to ska, rockabilly, psychedelia and metal. They have always chosen their own path, according to their leader/singer/songwriter Steve Perry, who adds that their goal is to "make music that's edgy, effusive and yet completely compelling on a larger level."

With this concert, a retrospective of the music of Hollywood's Rat Pack, the eight-piece band will bring a fresh viewpoint to one of the most classic repertoire of songs ever written or sung. When Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. turned "The Rat Pack" into a household name, they did it with the amazing optimism that characterized America in the beginning of the 1960s. As it turned out, this era would also prove to be twilight of the swing era, but the songs have lived on and become standards of the American music scene.

Performing favorites such as "The Best Is Yet To Come," "Come Fly With Me," "Luck Be A Lady," "Fly Me To the Moon," and many more, the Cherry Poppin' Daddies bring their talents to bear on a time of nostalgia and will have their audience dancing along to these well-remembered tunes.
