The Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve will host a program on how to create a butterfly habitat on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. St. Johns County Landscape Consultant and founder of Native Plant Consulting Renee Stambaugh will present the program at the Research Reserve's Visitor Center.
This free program will show participants how to make use of native plants, both nectar plants for adult butterflies and also foliage that attracts the babies. By providing food for caterpillars with these host plants, you can enjoy watching them grow and transform into adult butterflies.
