Stop by the Crisp Ellert Museum on Flagler College's campus to view a new exhibit set forth by Texas-based artist Liz Rodda that utilizes video, sculpture and two-dimensional works. This exhibit is in conjuction with Flagler College's "Ideas and Images: Visiting Scholars and Artists" series. Rodda will be at the Gamache-Koger Theatre in the back of the Ringhaver Student Center on campus on Sept. 5th at 7 pm to talk about her exhibit. Talk will be followed by an opening reception on Sept. 6 from 5 - 9 pm.

Rodda's works are analytic pieces of our notions of fate, personal control, and the future. Her artwork uses modes like video, and mixed-media sculptures to capture our attention. The pieces are "psychological experiments or riddles that lack the necessary information to be solved, the works produce moments of confusion in which expectations are set and dashed just before judgment can be made."
