CEAM — Golden Thread Exhibit
The Crisp-Ellert Art Museum presents the Golden Thread exhibit, starting Friday, February 2, and running until Wednesday, February 21, 2024. The exhibit is open Monday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.
The Golden Thread exhibit explores the dual narrative of empowerment and challenge faced in Black motherhood, as depicted through the works of Ilana Harris-Babou, a New York-based artist and sculptor.
Ilana Harris-Babou's work has been showcased in notable galleries around the globe, including The Ezra and Cecile Zilkha Gallery at Wesleyan University, Artspace New Haven, Kunsthaus Hamburg in Germany, and The Whitney Museum of American Art.

When: Februrary 2 through February 21, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday, and 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Where: Ringhaver Student Center's Virginia Room at Flagler College.
About the Crisp-Ellert Museum:
The Crisp-Ellert Art Museum, opened in 2007, displays pieces from local and international artists, including Flagler College's faculty and students. Showcasing a variety of public programs and cultural exhibitions, the museum also serves as a memorial to its benefactors, Drs. Joann Crisp-Ellert and Richard Ellert. The museum's location, once the home of the Ellerts, was donated to Flagler College.
