Discover First America! Series is back. This six-part FREE program features educational and entertaining information on St. Augustine's history through presentations, re-enactment, music, dance and sometimes food demonstrations! Each series will begin at 7 p.m. with the doors opening at 6 p.m. for seating, lobby displays, information and book signings.December 5, 2013 - Calling All Tories and Patriots, Too! Towne MeetingThe British take over Lewis Auditorium to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the British reign and the eve of St. Augustine's annual British Nightwatch. Guests will be entertained by Jesse Fish, a British Colonial entrepreneur and opportunist. His unique personality and wit will keep the audience guessing!British Colonial scholar and professor emeritus at the University of North Florida, Daniel Schafer, will recount life and politics in British controlled St. Augustine.The night will close with entertaining colonial dance and demonstrations. Tour St. Augustine and City Walks are sponsoring this adventure program.St. Augustine 450th Commemoration passports will be distributed to all participants.
