The Drifters, The Platters and Cornell Gunter Coasters

The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall will host two performances of the Rhythm & Blues Beach Celebration featuring The Drifters, The Platters and the Cornell Gunter Coasters.

Guests will spend a nostalgic evening with three of the world's most beloved musical groups who were instrumental in creating the Rock n' Roll/ Doo Wop sound: The Drifters, one of rock n' roll's founding vocal groups with their 50-year catalog of hits ( Under The Boardwalk, This Magic Moment); The Platters, which features four of America's premier singers performing their greatest hits (Only You, The Great Pretender) and Cornell Gunter Coasters (Charlie Brown, Yakety Yak).

The show includes songs that will please every palate and take audiences back to way things were when these songs dominated radio station's playlists.

Admission: Tickets are $59.50 to $69.50.

When: 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2022

Parking Information: Parking will be available onsite. There will be a $5 parking fee for ticketed events and for free events parking will also be free. For events not produced by the St. Johns County Cultural Events Division, parking fees will be at the discretion of the event producer.
