Emmylou Harris & The Red Dirt Boys

Presented by WJCT, the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, and Flying Saucer — Emmylou Harris will take the stage with the Red Dirt Boys on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 8:00 p.m.

Emmylou Harris was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008, and was presented with the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018. In over 40 years of writing songs and performing, Emmylou is known for her songwriting, her singing, and her willingness and ability to collaborate with a number of different artists, from Gram Parsons and Bob Dylan to Lucinda Williams and Lyle Lovett.

Harris's hits include songs she wrote, such as "Boulder to Birmingham" and "Two More Bottles of Wine," as well as covers she has made her own, such as "One of These Days," by Earl Montgomery and "Pacho and Lefty," by Townes Van Zandt.

Harris's back up band, Chris Donohue, Will Kimbrough, Phil Madeira, and Bryan Owings became known as The Red Dirt Boys after Harris had affectionately and frequently called them The Red Dirt Boys. The released their debut album in 2020 and Harris, of course, joined them in one of the songs.

Admission: Tickets range from $39.50 to $74.50 Tickets are available online or at the box office at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. The box office is open Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Parking Information: The Amp St. Augustine is located on Anastasia Island next to Anastasia State Park. Limited paid parking is available in The Amp's Main Lot, but only with advance purchase of a Premium Parking ticket. Free satellite parking areas are located within one mile of the Amphitheatre, at R.B. Hunt Elementary and at Anastasia State Park (see map below).

Shuttle Information: The St. Augustine Amphitheatre shuttle system begins its run 45 minutes prior to show time. The shuttle will pick up event patrons at four designated shuttle stops: the R.B. Hunt Elementary School Soccer Field, the west entrance of the Anastasia State Park Main Parking Lot, the Loop at the Anastasia State Park, and the entrance of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. Shuttles will run continuously until approximately 45 minutes after the scheduled start time of a concert. For anyone wanting to leave prior to the end of a show, shuttles will begin taking people back to the satellite parking areas one hour before the event is over. The driver will not depart The Amp until the shuttle is more than 50% full.
