Dewey Via and Chelsea Saddler perform together at the St. Augustine Waterworks on Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Billed as "Fire Riot," these two dynamic musicians are each able to entertain an audience for two hours. Together, they could burn the house down.
Guitarist, singer, and songwriter, Dewey Via, is a powerhouse performer, known for his flat-picking guitar skills, his original songs, and his ability to take any song from any genre and make it his own. Dewey moved to St. Augustine in 2007 and has since become one of the area's most sought after performers, playing solo gigs, and with his two bands, the Dewey Via Band and Moses Creek.
Chelsea Saddler, originally from Jacksonville, is a prolific songwriter who the Florida Times Union called "the second coming of Joni Mitchell." Comfortable on stage, with a powerful voice, Chelsea performs as a solo act, and with Lauren Gilliam. Together, they perform as Bad Dog Mama, playing originals by each artist and covers from all over the dial. Chelsea has just released The Offering, a full-length solo album.
