First Coast Opera is proud to present Don Giovanni, one of Mozart's great operas, on Friday, January 9, 2015, at the Lewis Auditorium.

The premiere opera company in northeast Florida, First Coast Opera has been performing for audiences in the St. Augustine area for 15 years. The Don Giovanni production is directed by Maestro Curtis Tucker.

Mozart's Don Giovanni was first performed in 1787 in Prague. The opera is based on the story of the fictional seducer Don Juan, and the alternate title for this opera is "Il Dissoluto Punito," which means "The Rake Punished." Set in the town of Seville in Spain, Don Giovanni is one of the 10 most-performed operas in the world, according to Operabase.

Admission: $35 per person.

When? Friday, January 9, 2015, at 7:30 p.m.

Where? Lewis Audtiorium is located at 14 Granada Street in downtown St. Augustine.
