The Currys and Michael Jordan

As part of the Gamble Rogers Concert Series, the Gamble Rogers Folk Festival, Inc. will present a night of music at the Lohman Auditorium featuring performances by The Currys and Michael Jordan.

Americana trio The Currys are a family band, with the two brothers Jimmy and Tommy along with cousin Galen Curry. They have been playing together since they were teenagers, and their melodic songwriting is a showcases for the harmonies of their interlocking voices. Their second album, West of Here, was released this year.

Virtuoso acoustic guitarist Michael Jordan can coax an incredible range of different sounds from a six-string guitar, switching from lap style to formal positioning effortlessly. His songs are also wide-ranging in style, from haunting melodies with evocative lyrics to dynamic rants and catchy hooks.
