Haunted Theatre: The Last Act
In this special performance for Halloween, a cast of St. Augustine ghosts tell the spooky stories of their past lives.
The St. George Players presents "Haunted Theatre: The Last Act" as a special treat for Halloween. There will be two performances on the Main Stage of the Limelight Theatre - at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 26, 2014.
The play was written by Dianne Jacoby, who is a veteran teller of ghostly tales and author of a popular collection of the best of St. Augustine ghost stories. The actors take on the identities of famously dead characters of local lore, and the tales they tell are both terrifying and hilariously funny - stories of the Voodoo Queen, the naughty seamstress Catalina, a Zombie Spanish soldier, and poor Elizabeth patiently waiting at the City Gate, among many others.
Admission: $15 for adults, $10 for students.
When? Saturday, October 25, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, October 26, at 2 p.m.
Where? The Limelight Theatre is located at 11 Old Mission Avenue in St. Augustine.
