The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall presents Texas singer/songwriter Hayes Carll on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 8:00 p.m.
Hayes Carll released his first album, Flowers and Liquor, in 2002 and was favorably compared to other Texas songwriters, particularly Townes Van Zand. Hayes lists Van Zandt among those who influenced him, along with John Prine and Bob Dylan, and others. Hayes has released five albums since his first, and in 2016 his song, "Chances Are" was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Country Song. While known for his sense of humor, his songs also express love, heartache, and a hope for the future.
Admission: Tickets range from $36.50 to $46.50. Tickets can be purchased on line or at the Amphitheater Box Office on Anastasia Island, which is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, and from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
