The Second Annual Inter-Faith Thanksgiving Service will be held on Thursday November 28th at Memorial Presbyterian Church in St. Augustine. This celebration welcomes all denominations to come together and give thanks.
The service will be titled "Let Us Give Thanks!" and is followed by a reception in the Fellowship Hall. Father Tom Willis from Cathedral Basilica will give the devotional prayer.
Congregations from dozens of local churches and organizations plan to attend, including Cathedral Basilica, Memorial Presbyterian, Temple Bet Yam, Grace United Methodist, St. Paul AME Church, St. Cyprian Episcopal, as well as representatives from Hindu, Muslim and Buddhist congregations and members of the St. Augustine Initiative for Compassion.
All are invited to this Thanksgiving service and are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item. Dairy or vegetarian dishes may be brought to share at the reception after the service.
