
The Florida Film Academy will present their inaugural International Student Film Festival on Saturday and Sunday, September 14 and 15, 2019, at the Corazon Cinema and Cafe in downtown St. Augustine.
The festival has been organized by Isobel Haynes and Wyatt Parks, teachers at the Florida Film Academy, and Flagler College Students. Over 100 films were submitted from all over the world, from Germany and China to Jordan and Mexico. There will be awards in four age groups (elementary through college) for Best Narrative, Best Documentary, and Best Animation.
The Florida Film Academy was established in 2009 in Winter Garden, Florida. The St. Augustine location (at 1260 N. Ponce de Leon Blvd.) was opened in 2015.
Admission: Tickets are $5.00 per ticket and will go on sale on Monday, August 26, 2019. Visit here after that date to purchase tickets, or visit the Corazon Cinema box office on the day of the show.
