The St. Augustine Amphitheatre presents North Florida's favorite southern rock group, JJ Grey & Mofro, for two nights alongside other notable bands on Saturday, May 24, at 3:45 p.m., with doors opening at 2:30 p.m. and on May 25, 2025, at 4:45 p.m, with doors opening at 3:30 p.m.

JJ Grey began his musical career performing at a Jacksonville bar where the bands were protected by chicken wire. He billed himself as "Mofro" to separate his music from his work. As he and his audience grew, he added a band and began using the name Mofro. JJ Grey and Mofro released nine albums, performed in venues and festivals worldwide, and became known for a distinct fusion of blues, soul, rock, and funk.
JJ Grey produced their tenth album, Olustee, which once again includes songs that tell his stories. The NPR review said Olustee was "A deeply-rooted blend of southern-fried rock and swamp funk…richly evocative lyrics…plainspoken, blue-collar American music."
Blending Appalachian folk with country and rock and roll, 49 Winchester creates a sound that bridges classic and contemporary influences. Hailing from Virginia, the band features Isaac Gibson on guitar and vocals, Chase Chafin on bass, Noah Patrick on pedal steel, and Bus Shelton on guitar. Known for their distinctive style, they take pride in bringing their music to stages across the country.
Garnering more than a million fans on streaming platforms such as Spotify, this band is best known for its chart-topping hits, "Annabel," "Russell County Line," and "Everlasting Lover." Their discography includes 49 Winchester, The Wind, Fortune Favors The Bold, and Leavin' This Hollar."
Deeply inspired by Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, Oregon-born alternative rock, folk rock, and country-rock artist, White Buffalo, is best known for songs like "Come Join the Murder," "Matador," "Wish It Was True," and his haunting cover of "House of the Rising Sun," featured in Kurt Sutter's gripping series, Sons of Anarchy.
White Buffalo's distinct baritone voice and heartfelt lyrics have garnered more than a million fans on streaming channels and earned him a Primetime Emmy Award. His discography includes Hogtied Like a Rodeo, Hogtied Revisited, Once Upon a Time in the West, Shadows, Greys & Evil Ways, Love & The Death of Damnation, Darkest Darks, Lightest Lights, On the Widow's Walk, and Year of the Dark Horse.
Florida-born country singer John Anderson, a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Country Music Hall of Fame, continues to captivate audiences with hits like "Wild and Blue," "Black Sheep," and "Straight Tequila Night." Inspired by The Rolling Stones and Merle Haggard, he launched his career in the 1970s and made his mark on the Billboard charts with "I've Got a Feelin'."
Anderson worked with Waylon Jennings, John Rich, and others throughout his illustrious career. Anderson's discography includes John Anderson, John Anderson 2, I Just Came Home To Count The Memories, Wild & Blue, All The People Are Talkin', Eye Of A Hurricane, Blue Skies Again, Too Tough To Tame, Seminole Wind, Solid Ground, Christmas Time, Country Til I Die, Paradise, Takin' The Country Back, and Anderson's most recent album, The Ultimate Hits.
Featuring Ernie Chang on saxophone, Shawn Eckels on vocals and guitar, Andee "Beats" Avila on vocals and drums, Floyd Kellogg on guitar and bass, and Andrew Frasco on keys and vocals, Andy Frasco and the U.N. deliver a high-energy fusion of blues and rock with a wild, infectious spirit. From the United States to China, this California-born band have ignited stages at festivals like Wakarusa, the Sacred Rose Festival, the Mountain String Harvest Festival, Horning's Hideout, and the Zwarte Cross Festival.
Their discography boasts an eclectic mix of albums, including Love, You're Too Expensive, Road Life Revival, Just a Good Ole Time, Half a Man, Happy Bastards, Songs From The Road, Change of Pace, Keep On Keepin' On, Live On The Rocks, and their latest release, L'Optimist.
A powerhouse of southern, blues, and progressive rock, The Marshall Tucker Band has left a lasting mark with hits like "Can't You See," "This Ol' Cowboy", and "Heard It in a Love Song." Elevating the southern rock genre, this South Carolina-based group features Chris Hicks on vocals and guitar, Doug Gray on percussion and vocals, Rick Willis on guitar and vocals, Marcus James Henderson on saxophone, keyboards, flute, and vocals, Ryan Ware on bass and vocals, and B.B. Borden on drums.
Known for their signature blend of flashy licks and eclectic melodies, their music has resonated with fans nationwide and found its way into films like Swing Vote, I, Tonya, and Blow.
Admission: Single-day ticket prices range from $58.50 to $246.50. Tickets can be purchased online or at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre Box Office, open on Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The box office accepts debit and credit cards only.

Parking Information: The Amp is located on Anastasia Island next to Anastasia State Park. Limited paid parking is available in the St. Augustine Amphitheatre Main Lot, but only with advance purchase of a Premium Parking ticket. Free satellite parking areas are located within one mile of the Amphitheatre, at R.B. Hunt Elementary, and at Anastasia State Park (see map below).
Shuttle Information: The St. Augustine Amphitheatre shuttle system begins its run 60 minutes before show time. The shuttle will pick up event patrons at four designated shuttle stops: the R.B. Hunt Elementary School Soccer Field, the west entrance of the Anastasia State Park Main Parking Lot, the Loop at the Anastasia State Park, and the entrance of The Amp. Shuttles will run continuously until approximately 60 minutes after the scheduled start time of a concert. For anyone wanting to leave before the end of a show, shuttles will begin taking people back to the satellite parking areas one hour before the event is over. The driver will not depart from The Amp until the shuttle is more than 50% full.
