Combining a mixture of soul, pop, folk, and blues, Johnnyswim is made up of husband and wife Abner Ramirez and Amanda Sudano Ramirez. The pair met in Nashville, Tennessee, and released their first self-titled EP in 2008.  After the couple married in 2009, they relocated to Los Angeles, California, and released their full-length album Diamonds, which sold over 50,000 copies.

They have appeared on TV shows including VH1's "You Oughta Know Concert," "The Tonight Show starring Jay Leno," "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," "Today," and "Live with Kelly & Michael." Their song "Home" remains the theme for HGTV's "Fixer Upper." They are touring in support of their most recent release, Moonlight.
