K9s United presents the annual 9K, 5K, and 1-mile runs on Saturday, April 27, 2024. The 9K and 5K runs begin at 8:00 a.m. and the 1-mile run begins at 9:00 a.m. Both races take place at the Ring Power Corporate Headquarters Complex at 500 World Commerce Pkwy.
This annual event raises funds for K9s United, a non-profit organization honoring the service and tragic death of K9 Officer Baron, a member of the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.
In addition to the races, there will be activities available for all ages, including K9 demonstrations, music, a K9 photo booth, and activities for kids.
Participants have the option of participating both in-person and virtually and will receive participant medals. Register for this event by April 17th to guarantee your event t-shirt or dog bandana.
Note: Since law enforcement K9s are present at this event, attendees are not permitted to bring any pet other than a service animal.
Registration: Race fees for the 9K are $33.00 while the 5K is $23.00 and the 1-Mile Fun Run is $16.00. The virtual 5K costs $30.00 and the virtual 9K costs $35.00. Prices are subject to change and may increase as the event nears.
When: Saturday, April 27, 2024. The start times are 8:00 a.m. for the 9K and 5K, and 9:00 a.m. for the 1-Mile Fun Run.
