Today Flagler College will host a free lecture, open to the public, on Andean mummies and archaeology of the Incas by Dr. Constanza Ceruti in the Flagler Room. Dr. Constanza Ceruti, the only female Andean high altitude archaeologist in the world, will discuss "Andean Mummies, Sacred Mountains and the Archaeology of the Incas in Latin America." Her research emphasizes exploring and excavating Inca Empire ceremonial centers in the summits of sacred Andean mountains. She has climbed over 100 mountains above 5,000 meters to study mountaintop shrines of the Inca civilization and co-discovered the best preserved frozen mummies at 6,739 meters on the summit of volcano Llullaillaco. Call (904) 819-6249 for more information.___
