The Lightner Museum will present works by local artist Anna Miller in a new Lightner Local exhibition opening at 5 p.m. July 2, 2021, during the First Friday Art Walk.
The exhibition "Inner Light: In a Time of Pandemic" is inspired by the natural environment and beauty of St. Johns County. In her work, Miller explores the resiliency of the human spirit in times of struggle through a series of dramatic abstract paintings.
Created to showcase the extraordinary talents of artists who live in the Northeast and Central Florida regions, Lightner Local is supported by the Benjamin and Jean Troemel Arts Foundation.
Admission: $17 adults; $14 college students and military; $10 youth 12-17
When: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily starting Friday, July 2, 2021
Where: The Lightner Museum is located at 75 King St. in historic downtown.
