The Limelight Theatre presents its own stage adaptation of Disney's hit movie, High School Musical, in St. Augustine from Friday, July 10 to Sunday, July 12, 2015. Middle and high school students perform in this summer camp musical.
High School Musical is an updated reimagining of Romeo and Juliet. The story follows the romance of two high school students from rival cliques. Troy, the captain of the basketball team, and Gabriella, a brainy girl with an aptitude for math and science, decide to audition for their high school's musical production. Their decision to venture out of their defined cliques divides the school. Troy and Gabriella must learn to balance extracurricular activities, family, friends, and love.
This Limelight production staff features Leah Page as director, Kip Taisey as musical director; Sarah Messenger as choreographer; Sara Cabell as stage manager and prop supervisor; Izabella Noell Unice as assistant stage manager and dance captain; Micah Laird as production manager; Miles Mosher as lighting and sound designer; Alison Zador as costume designer, and Intern Zachary McLean as booth operator.
The male lead of Troy Bolton is played by Kyle Thompson and the female lead of Gabriella Montez is played by Ella Romaine. Sharpay Evans is played by Graciella Fernandez and Ryan Evans is played by Alex Lawless. The rest of the cast includes Jordan Farris as Taylor McKessie; Carly Mosley as Mrs. Darbus; Paxton Peterson as Chad Danford; Savannah Lawless as Kelsi Nielson; Madison Barnes as Martha Cox; Zeke Baylor as Will Gooden; Laura Scmidlin as Coach Bolton; Owen Romain as Jack Scott; Chloe Williams as Mrs. Tenny; Sophie Byroacle as Jamie; Ella Maguire as Cyndra; Gracie Weed as Cathy; Sara Townsend as Susan; Julia Montufar as Brainiac; Isabel Ferrell as Brainiac; Kyler Unsworth as Head Cheerleader; Mia Mondello as Cheerleader; Lillian Black as Cheerleader; Izabella Noelle Unice as Cheerleader.

Where? The Limelight Theatre is located at 11 Old Mission Ave. in the Uptown San Marco district. Free parking is available on the street and in the parking lot behind the theater.
