The Limelight Theatre presents Smoke on the Mountain from June 13 through June 29, 2019. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and 2:00 p.m. on Sundays, including a Preview Night on June 12 and a Terrific Tuesday showing on June 18, 2019.

Set in North Carolina's Smoky Mountains in 1938, Smoke on the Mountain tells the story of the Sanders Family, a traveling group who is performing at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, singing and playing a variety of bluegrass tunes and hymns. After each song, the family members share memorable moments in their lives.

Conceived by Alan Bailey and written by Connie Ray, with musical arrangements by Mike Craver, Smoke on the Mountain is one of the most produced shows in the world.

Admission: Regular admission tickets are $26.00. Tickets are $15.00 for Preview Night (June 12) and for Terrific Tuesday (June 18). Visit here to purchase tickets online.

Where: The Limelight Theatre is located at 11 Old Mission Ave. in the Uptown San Marco district. Free parking is available on the street and in the parking lot behind the theater.
