Magic! in Concert

A blend of reggae, rock, pop and soul is the signature sound of the band, Magic!

Please Note: This event is from 2015

The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall presents Magic! in concert on Sunday, February 22, 2015. The band has a unique sound that mixes Caribbean and reggae flavors with rock, pop and a little soul.

Songwriter and producer Nasri describes the jam session when the band's sound coalesced: "… it all tied together instantly. We began recording, and the sound was so locked in on every song. That's even where we derived the band name. Everything simply worked like MAGIC!"

Guitarist Mark Pelli, drummer Alex Tanas and bassist Ben Spivak round out the band, who recorded their first full-length album in 2013.

Nasri has written music for a wide variety of artists, including Justin Bieber, Pitbull, Chris Brown, and Christina Aguilera. He won a Grammy award in 2012 in the category of "Best R&B Album" for Chris Brown's album, F.A.M.E.

He has embarked on this new venture with his usual vision and enthusiasm. "This music is meant to put you in a good mood," he comments. "We want to bring people together to have a good time."
