Me First and The Gimmie Gimmies at the Backyard Stage

The St. Augustine Amphitheatre presents Me First and The Gimmie Gimmies on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

Me First and the Gimme Gimmes is a punk rock and skate punk ensemble consisting of Joey Cape on guitar, Fat Mike on bass, Dave Raun on drums, and Spike Slawson on vocals. Since 1995, they've been crafting lively and spirited covers, drawing inspiration from various eras from the 60s onwards.

Their inventive renditions of tracks by Elton John, Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, REO Speedwagon, and more showcase the band's versatility and knack for swiftly adapting to diverse styles and themes.

Have a Ball, Are a Drag, Blow in the Wind, Take a Break, Ruin Jonny's Bar Mitzvah, Love Their Country, Sing in Japanese, Go Down Under, Are We Not Men? We Are Diva! and their most recent album, Rake It In The Greatest Hits, are part of their discography.

Admission: General admission standing-room tickets for the Backyard Stage range from $31.50 to $37.00. Tickets can be purchased online or at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre Box Office, open on Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Parking Information: The Amp St. Augustine is located on Anastasia Island next to Anastasia State Park. Free parking in the Amphitheatre lot is available during all Backyard Stage performances.
