Music In the Box Series: Maja Gitana Concert

The Limelight Theatre presents acoustic music act Maja Gitana live on stage on Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Janine Newfield's evocative violin and Marianne Lerbs' velvet voice and guitar combine to create the distinctive sound of Maja Gitana. While Latin and Gypsy influences predominate, this duo's repertoire draws from a variety of musical genres, from jazz to bossa nova, classical to blues, and rock to pop.

The performance will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00  p.m. in the intimate "black box" setting of the Limelight's Koger-Gamache Studio. This concert is part of Limelight's "Music in the Box"  which takes place on the last Sunday of the month in 2015.

Admission: $5 per person is requested, which will go directly to the musicians. Beer, wine, soda and snacks are available for additional donations in the Limelight Theatre's lobby. Free parking is available in the theatre's parking lot.

When? Sunday, May 31, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Where? The Limelight Theatre is located just north of the historic district at 11 Old Mission Ave. in St. Augustine.
