The North Florida Women's Chorale will present "Gloria!" the chorale's annual holiday performance at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at the Cathedral Basilica in St. Augustine's historic downtown. The concert is free and open to the public.
The featured number will be the Gloria, by Antonio Vivaldi. A string quartet, a piccolo trumpet, and Kathleen Vande Berg on harpsichord will join the chorale for this signature work. As is their tradition, the women's ensemble will also sing a selection of carols and old favorite holiday songs, and invite the audience to participate in their annual sing-a-long, accompanied by Kathleen Vande Berg.
Directed by Kerry Fradley, the North Florida Women's Chorale is one of the premier vocal ensembles in Northeast Florida. The chorus of 40 voices consists of singers from Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra Beach, and St. Augustine.
