North Mississippi All Stars and Anders Osborne Present N.M.O.

The North Mississippi All Stars and Anders Osborne perform together as N.M.O. (North Mississippi Osborne) in the first concert of their coast-to-coast tour. They will appear at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall on Thursday, February 19, 2015, at 8 p.m.

These two mainstays of roots rock will come together for a live collaborative performance, combining the bluesy rock and roll sound of the North Mississippi All Stars (brothers Luther and Cody Dickinson) with Anders Osborne's unique brand of New Orleans soul, to kick off their winter tour as N.M.O. 

This tour will allow the two groups to perform in a whole new way, making use of their extensive catalogs of of songs and intertwining their sounds during one set, electric and acoustic. 

The North Mississippi All Stars formed in 1996, when the Dickinson brothers, inspired by the North Mississippi country music legacy of their father, Memphis legend Jim Dickinson, pioneered a new style of blues-infused rock and roll. 

New Orleans' Anders Osborne is acclaimed for his rich sound and detailed songwriting. Guitar Player called him, "the poet laureate of Louisiana's fertile roots music scene," and he was recently honored by New Orleans' Gambit Weekly as the Entertainer of the Year. 

Admission: General Admission, standing room only tickets are $30 per person.

When? Friday, February 13, 2015, at 8:00 p.m. (doors open at 7:00 p.m.).

Where? The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is located at 1050 A1A North in Ponte Vedra Beach.
