Playbook exhibit running from December 6, 2013 January 30, 2014.Space:eight Gallery welcomes their new exhibit, Playbook, from new works by Georgia artist George Long and Brooklyn artist Mario Schambon. This exhibit features diverse artwork that all pull from active encounters and exchanges from both artists.This exhibit flows together in images and ideas that are grabbed directly from life. Adventures fueled by desires, hunger and thirst are depicted in the artwork. Nothing is static in the Playbook exhibit. The artwork acts as arrows that point to pockets of action or tension in everyday life.Admission: FREEWhere? Space:eight Gallery located at 228 W. King Street St. Augustine, Florida 32084. Parking is available in the lot across the street.When? Gallery open Mon Thurs from 9 am 5 pm.Opening Night 5 pm - 11 pm on Friday, December 6, 2013. Artist George Long will be in attendance and Bold City Brewery will be providing refreshments. DJ Damien Lee will be spinning music for the opening night. FREE admission to the opening night. The art gallery's exhibits last two months each, with an opening night reception on the first Friday's of each month to conicide with the city-wide Artwalk event.
