City Walks offers the "Pirates & Plunder Historic Walking Tour" on Saturday, November 15, 2014, at 6:15 p.m., that will take guests on a journey into St. Augustine's rogue past. The Golden Age of Piracy had a significant effect on St. Augustine's history, as Spanish treasure ships were forced to make their way back home via the Gulf Stream, which left them vulnerable to attacks by pirates. Some of the most notorious pirates and privateers in history plied their trade in the waters just off St. Augustine.

This special tour leads visitors on a maritime stroll down the streets of the nation's oldest city, as the tales of pirate mayhem are brought to life on the "Pirates & Plunder Historic Walking Tour." The tour is offered on select Saturdays; visit here or call (904) 825-0087 for more information and to book a tour.

Admission: $12 per person; children ten and under are free. Reservations are required.

When? Saturday, November 15, 2014, at 6:15 p.m.
