Flying Saucer Presents and the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall welcome folklore singer-songwriter, Patty Griffin on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. Located at 1050 A1A North in Ponte Vedra Beach, Griffin has 7 Grammy nominations and is a 2-time Grammy winner who has written powerful lyrics for fellow musicians and performs original songs as a solo artist.
Having worked with Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris, Kelly Clarkson, Solomon Burke, Miranda Lambert, and more, Griffin is highly respected in the world of music. Her songs have also been featured in film, TV series, and theatre productions. As stated by the New York Times, "[Griffin writes] cameo-carved songs that create complete emotional portraits of specific people...[her] songs have independent lives that continue in your head when the music ends."
As her written work inspires and attracts the attention of so many, Griffin has been asked to perform her music with great artists including Melissa Etheridge. In a duet, Griffin and Etheridge performed her song, "When It Doesn't Come Easy," on behalf of breast cancer survivors.
