The St. Augustine Amphitheatre presents Rick Springfield with special guests John Waite, Wang Chung, and John Cafferty on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:00 p.m.
Australian-American artist and actor, Rick Springfield, is best known for classic rock, pop, and power pop hits, which have spanned decades since the 1960s. His solo career gained momentum in the 1970s with the Australian hit, "Speak to the Sky" and soared to international fame in the 1980s with the chart-topping, "Jessie's Girl" in the United States.
A Grammy Award-winning musician, Springfield crafts energetic songs that explore themes of romance and the complexities of the human experience. With millions of followers on Spotify and other streaming platforms, he continues proving that the spirit of '80s music is alive.
Springfield's discography includes Beginnings, Comic Book Heroes, Wait For Tonight, Working Class Dog, Success Hasn't Spoiled Me Yet, Life in Oz, Hard To Hold, Beautiful Feelings, Rock of Life, Sahara Snow, Karma, The Day After Yesterday, Christmas with You, Venus in Overdrive, From the Vault, Songs for the End of the World, Rocket Science, The Snake King, Orchestrating My Life, The Red Locusts, Working Class Dog, Springfield, and his latest album, Automatic.

Active since the 1970s, John Waite is best known for his hits, "Missing You" and "When I See You Smile." Hailing from England, he merges pop, rock, and adult contemporary, pushing the boundaries of each genre. He and his music made appearances on the Paper Dolls television series. Waite's discography includes Ignition, No Brakes, Mask of Smiles, Rover's Return, Temple Bar, When You Were Mine, The Hardway, Downtown: Journey of a Heart, and his most recent album, Rough & Tumble.
The iconic new wave band Wang Chung, founded by Jack Hues and Nick Feldman, gained widespread popularity in the United States with their synth-driven sound. Some of their hits include "Everybody Have Fun Tonight" and "Let's Go!" Hailing from London, the band continues to tour worldwide, captivating audiences with their dynamic performances. Their discography includes standout albums such as Huang Chung, Points on the Curve, Mosaic, The Warmer Side of Cool, Tazer Up!, and Orchesography.
Rhode Island native, John Cafferty, has been crafting blue-collar rock since the 1970s. Best known for hits like "Hearts on Fire," "On the Dark Side," and "Tender Years," he remains a beloved figure in the rock scene. With more than half a million followers on Spotify, Cafferty continues to keep the spirit of '80s rock alive.
Admission: General admission prices range from $39.50 to $149.50. Purchase tickets online or at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre Box Office, which is open on Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Parking Information: The St. Augustine Amphitheatre is located on Anastasia Island next to Anastasia State Park. Limited paid parking is available in the St. Augustine Amphitheatre Main Lot, but only with advance purchase of a Premium Parking ticket. Free satellite parking areas are located within one mile of the Amphitheatre, at R.B. Hunt Elementary, and at Anastasia State Park (see map below).
Shuttle Information: The St. Augustine Amphitheatre shuttle system begins its run 45 minutes before show time. The shuttle will pick up event patrons at four designated shuttle stops: the R.B. Hunt Elementary School Soccer Field, the west entrance of the Anastasia State Park Main Parking Lot, the Loop at the Anastasia State Park, and the entrance of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. Shuttles will run continuously until approximately 45 minutes after the scheduled start time of a concert. For anyone wanting to leave prior to the end of a show, shuttles will begin taking people back to the satellite parking areas one hour before the event is over. The driver will not depart the Amphitheatre until the shuttle is more than 50% full.
