Romanza: An Afternoon Visit with Rosamond Parrish
At the Voorhees Mission House
Known locally for her evocative watercolors of Florida’s natural and cultural resources, Rosamond Parrish will share her experiences and expertise during this Romanza Festivale event. Hosted in the Voorhees Mission House at St. Cyprian’s Episcopal Church, this Friday afternoon 'visit' will include complimentary refreshments alongside a presentation of Ms. Parrish’s art.
Since moving to Florida in the 1980s, Rosamond Parrish has cemented herself in the arts community of Northeast Florida. She founded the Jacksonville Watercolor Society in 1982 and has been integral to the recent successes of the St. Augustine Arts Association. Rosamond Parrish’s two books, St. Augustine: A Sketchbook and Lincolnville: A Sketchbook Journal of St. Augustine’s Historic Neighborhood will be available for purchase at this event.

This event is part of the Romanza Festivale of Music and the Arts, an annual festival consisting of two weeks of historical, cultural and creative events celebrating all things St. Augustine.
