Romanza Presents ...
On Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., the Romanza Festivale presents Cliff Parrish directing the Matanzas Vocal Artists, at the St. Augustine Waterworks.
Cliff Parrish, the music director and organist for the Trinity Episcopal Church, directs four professional singers from North Florida. The vocalists have performed in operas, musicals, and with several ensembles throughout the region. Robert Schumann's Spanische Liebeslieder is the featured work for the concert. German composer Schumann wrote more than 300 compositions for voice and piano. The work performed in this concert has vocal solos, duets, and quartets, accompanied by piano four hands.
Art songs from the United States, Germany, Italy, France, and England will also be presented. Members of the vocal quartet are soprano Haley Kirk, mezzo-soprano Emily Heumann, tenor Timothy Keatley, and bass Jason Whitefield.

Where: The St. Augustine Water Works is located at 184 San Marco Avenue in uptown St. Augustine, Florida 32084.
While the address is 184 San Marco Avenue, the only driveway on San Marco is Exit Only. Access to the Waterworks is through the St. Augustine Main Library parking lot. (Use 1960 North Ponce de Leon in your GPS.)

This event is part of the annual two-week Romanza Festivale of Music and the Arts, showcasing historical, cultural, and creative events celebrating all things St. Augustine.
