St. Augustine Community Chorus — Hope Eternal

Romanza Presents ...

On Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Romanza Festivale presents the St. Augustine Community Chorus and special guests the Bel Canto Singers, in concert at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine.

The program is titled Hope Eternal, and the Bel Canto Singers of Daytona collaborate with the Community Chorus on "Requiem for the Living," by Dan Forrest. Unlike typical requiems written as memorials, this piece was written for those troubled, weary, or needing solace. Works by these other contemporary composers will round out this inspiring program: David Elder, Eriks Esenvalds, Mark Hayes, and Kenny Potter.

The organization strives to perform choral music with joy and a high level of expertise, and adult singers are encouraged to contact the St. Augustine Community Chorus to learn more about the chorus.

Admission: Tickets are $30.00 for adults. Children younger than 11 are free. Tickets can be purchased online.
