On Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., the Romanza Festival presents a "Sundays with SAMF" concert featuring lyric baritone Robert Sims, at the St. Augustine Waterworks.
Robert Sims has been praised for his rich baritone voice and ability to sing a varied musical repertoire. Most recently, Robert Sims has performed with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, the Oakland Symphony Orchestra, and the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. He is equally at home on the opera stage and sang with the Chicago Opera Theatre in the world premiere of Freedom Ride by Dan Shore. His operatic credits include roles in Porgy and Bess, La Traviata, and Cosi Fan Tutte.
Robert graduated from Oberlin Conservatory, SUNY Binghamton, and Northwestern University.
Admission: $30.00 per person. Tickets will be available at the SAMF website.

While the address is 184 San Marco Avenue, the only driveway on San Marco is Exit Only. Access to the Waterworks is through the St. Augustine Main Library parking lot. (Use 1960 North Ponce de Leon in your GPS.)
