The Northeast Florida Marlin Association hosts the 52nd Annual Salt Life Bluewater Tournament from Wednesday, May 8, 2024, to Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Camachee Cove Yacht Harbor. This tournament represents the second stage of the Sport Fishing Championship, an 11-event series aimed at determining the ultimate offshore fishing champion. This is a Captian's choice tournament allowing participants to choose fishing days during the tournament to target a wide variety of pelagic species, such as marlin, kingfish, and tuna.
The event starts with a Captains' Meeting, followed by several days of competitive fishing. Participants compete in both the Bill Fish and Game Fish Divisions, with $50,000 in cash and prizes available.
Each day, boats depart early in the morning for fishing, with lines in by 7:00 a.m. There is live coverage of the event on CBS Sports Network, and the “Salt Life FanFestival Village” offers food, a bar, and entertainment, including live music performances by Paper City Hustlers and Craig Hand.
Additional activities include a fish fry and a raffle. The event concludes with an awards dinner, celebrating the achievements of participants.

This tournament is open to the public but also part of the Northeast Florida Marlin Association's Tournament Series Championship, which is exclusive to NEFMA members.

Registration: Final registration is at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. The Billfish Tournament Entry fee is $1,200.00, while the Gamefish Tournament Entry fee is $500.00. Additional optional categories include:
- Billfish Overall High Roller: $3,500.00
- Billfish Overall Points: $1,500.00
- Billfish Daily (Winner Take All per day for 2 days): $1,000.00
- Billfish Outboard / Under 40: $1,000.00
- Gamefish High Roller (combined weight of 2 largest Dolphin, Wahoo, and Tuna per captain): $2,500.00
- Gamefish Overall Points: $1,000.00
- Largest Wahoo: $500.00
- Largest Tuna: $500.00
- Largest Dolphin: $500.00
