Sing Out Loud Music Festival

St. Augustine will again host one of the biggest music festivals in the Southeast this September when the Sing Out Loud Music Festival returns for its event season. Sing Out Loud 2024 takes place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from Friday, September 6 through Sunday, September 29 (with one event on Thursday, the 19th.) 

In 2016, local musicians and music lovers organized the first Sing Out Loud Music Festival, which offered nine days of free concerts and featured an amazing lineup of national, regional, and local musical artists. Now, the event has expanded to include nationally known musicians, and the St. Augustine Songwriters Festival presenting songwriters from Nashville. Throughout the month, local and regional musicians will perform on multiple stages or "showcases" throughout the area.

Sing Out Loud 2024 takes place from Friday, September 6 through Sunday, September 29.

In addition to presenting a long list of local musicians performing for free in various venues, Sing Out Loud hosts several special events:

• Pecha Kucha Night, with Shayla Nelson, Michael Lagasse, and Trey Brewer, at Dog Rose Brewery on September 6.
• Pokey LaFarge in a free concert at the Colonial Oak Music Park on September 13.
• The Watson Twins at Spinster Abbott's on September 14.
• The St. Augustine Record Fair, presented by ToneVendor Records, on Sunday, September 15.
• A fundraising concert by Trampled by Turtles benefiting Sea Turtle Rescue on Thursday, September 19. This event has sold out.
• The Live Wildly Showcase, at Francis Field on September 21 and 22. On Saturday, the event presents Eric Church, Ryan Bingham with the Texas Gentlemen, Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, The Breeders, Ole 60, Tré Burt, and JJ Grey & Mofro. On Sunday, Noah Kahan is the headliner, with Norah Jones, Marcus King, Sierra Ferrell, Kevin Morby, and Nat & Alex Wolff performing earlier in the day. See the Sing Out Loud website for tickets.
• St. Augustine Songwriters Festival, free concerts featuring Nashville songwriters, is on Friday - Sunday, September 27 through September 29.
